The Ministry of Youth, Sport and Arts, in partnership with the National Sports Council of Zambia and the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ), has announced that it will host a two-day National Football Indaba from 1–2 December 2025.

According to a statement posted on the Ministry’s official Facebook page, the summit will bring together key stakeholders from across the football ecosystem to deliberate on strategies aimed at transforming and elevating the sport at all levels.

The indaba is expected to tackle issues such as youth development, governance, talent identification, infrastructure, administration, and long-term performance pathways for national teams.

“This important event will bring together key stakeholders to discuss practical strategies for transforming and elevating Zambian football at all levels,” the statement read.

The Ministry has also encouraged members of the public to participate in the build-up discussions by sharing ideas and expectations.

“Let’s shape the future of our game together,” stated the post.

The indaba will serve as a national consultation platform as Zambia seeks to strengthen its football structure both on and off the pitch.
