Zambia’s champions Power Dynamos Football Club will discover their group stage opponents this afternoon when the Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) conducts the official draw for the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League 2025/26 in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The draw ceremony is scheduled for 14h00 local time (12h00 GMT) and will see the 16 qualified clubs from across the continent placed into four groups of four teams (Groups A–D).
Power Dynamos, who have been placed in Pot 4, could face some of Africa’s biggest footballing powerhouses, including Al Ahly (Egypt), Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa), Espérance Sportive de Tunis (Tunisia), and RS Berkane (Morocco) — all of whom are seeded in Pot 1.
CAF confirmed that the seeding is based on each club’s performance in interclub competitions over the past five seasons.
Draw Pots:
Pot 1: Al Ahly (EGY), Mamelodi Sundowns (RSA), Espérance de Tunis (TUN), RS Berkane (MAR)
Pot 2: Simba SC (TAN), Pyramids FC (EGY), Al Hilal (SUD), Young Africans (TAN)
Pot 3: Atlético Petroleos (ANG), AS FAR (MAR), MC Alger (ALG), Rivers United (NGA)

The Copperbelt giants will be making a return to the CAF Champions League group stage after years of absence, and they will be eager to make a strong impression despite being unseeded.
Football fans across Africa and beyond will be able to watch the draw live on CAF’s official platforms as anticipation builds for what promises to be an exciting group phase of Africa’s premier club competition.
