Zambia’s representatives ZESCO United Football Club will find out their CAF Confederation Cup group stage opponents this afternoon, with African giants Zamalek SC (Egypt), Wydad AC (Morocco), USM Alger (Algeria), and CR Belouizdad (Algeria) among the potential heavyweights lying in wait.

The Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) has confirmed that the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup 2025/26 group stage draw will take place on Monday, 03 November, at 13h00 local time (11h00 GMT) in Johannesburg, South Africa.

A total of 16 clubs that advanced from the second preliminary round will be placed into four groups of four teams (Groups A–D), based on CAF’s five-year interclub performance rankings.

ZESCO United, placed in Pot 4, could face some of the continent’s most decorated sides, including Zamalek, Wydad, and USM Alger — all seeded in Pot 1 due to their strong continental pedigree.
